Service Description

Learn to use the potter’s wheel to create fun and functional pieces like cups, mugs, bowls, and plates. This beginner to intermediate level class is geared towards teaching the foundational skills required to make pots on the pottery wheel. Participants will learn how to prepare the clay, center it, and throw on the wheel. Once the pots are leatherhard, they will learn how to trim and then decorate their pots. Those with experience are encouraged to explore more complex forms while practicing and refining their basic skills. In this 5-week program, we meet once every week for 2 hours. If you are interested in continuing after the duration, you are welcome to sign up for more classes. * A small class size ensures that you get plenty of help from the instructor.
